Get Rid Of
There are a lot of things about the mistreatment and misrepresentation of Animals that ires me, and one those is when people use the vulgar term: "Get Rid Of" when referring to removing a pet from one's home. You get rid of garbage not an innocent creature who thinks you are a treasure.
You get rid of negative thoughts and feelings that cripple you not that sweet furry face that melts all the negativity in your life away with just one look and you get rid of people who treat you badly or hold you back not the four legged one who loves you unconditionally and pulls you toward the door to go out into the light of day.
Landlords who say ( not mine) get rid of your animals if you want to live here or the boy/girl friend who says get rid of your critter for me...I say to them, I will happily live in my car and or go without dating because anyplace is "Home" where my creatures reside and they are at times the very best friend we have. Treasure them for someday they will not be with you to love and cherish you like no human ever can.
