Gun Control Is An Oxy Moron

Gun Control. Think about this.
That Amendment was written into our Constitution a couple of hundred years ago by men who were referring to bearing arms such as Muskets. They did not have the luxury of an organized local Law Enforcement and their Military was in its' infancy.
They had wives and other people at home 24/7 to watch their children. They did not know what an Assault rifle was or a street gang or a drug cartel. They did not have to deal with idiot parents who take control away from our teachers in our schools so they feel helpless and at the mercy of lunatic children! They were not dealing with domestic terrorists with bombs, their only serious threat was the ORIGINAL AMERICANS who fought with arrows, spears and fire!

These men were deeply religious and proud of it, they were incredibly educated and open minded but they could not see into the future of this nation and it's overpopulation, it's poverty and desperation, it's drug crisis, it's overwhelming statistics of mental illness and it's lack of open mindedness that can look at what works and what doesn't anymore with regard to our Amendment rights.

You want to bear arms go ahead, but don't come crying to the rest of us when your kid gets gunned down in school one day because another kid who was bullied brought Daddy's hunting rifle to school, or your wife gets car jacked at gun point or your sister gets raped at gun point...you should be smart enough to get MY POINT! Shame on the Senate for failing us.
