It Was Enough

My most favorite Christmas story is The Little Drummer Boy.

A forgotten child left to wither and parish in an unforgiving world.

Drawn to the chaos of the emerging King of Kings, he was carried away in a tide.

Then he found himself desperate and alone until he made his way to the birth of Christ.  

There were men great and wise bestowing gifts of wealth and majesty upon the new born babe. 

The Little Drummer Boy wanted to give a gift, but all he had was music, the language of the soul and he played and all the world stopped to listen. He gave all that he had and all that he had was enough.  

All that you have is all that you need because all that you are is enough.
